AWT Spiral impeller Flow Meter is a high repeatability and precision flow meter used to measure the flow of various liquid industrial media. Its unique structure not only guarantees the measurement performance of the flow meter, but also improves the adaptability to fluid. It can precisely measure the flow of media with wide viscosity range and small content of solid, such as crude oil, oily sewage, diesel, gasoline, all kinds of light oil, corrosive chemicals, etc.

Working Principle and Structure
The flow meter adopts the structure similar to that of a turbine flow meter, while the rotor that senses the flow is completely different. The spiral impeller flow meter uses the spiral rotor with two blades, and its rotating speed in the working mode is in direct proportion to the flow rate (volume flow rate) of the fluid. The special structure of the spiral impeller makes it have low sensibility to the viscosity changes of the fluid during flow measurement and nearly have no sense to the density changes of the fluid.
Magnetic substances are installed on the spiral impeller. The detecting coil installed outside the pipe section of the flow meter senses the rotation of the spiral impeller and produces electric pulse in direct proportion to the rotating speed of the rotor. The frequency of the electric pulse is also in direct proportion to the flow. These signals are processed by the converter, thus the flow can be displayed and the various industrial standard signals in proportion to the flow can be output.
